Include Youth Young People Seeking Asylum Awareness Training

Co-designed with young people seeking asylum, this training challenges myths, builds empathy, and boosts cultural awareness and inclusion.

Co-designed and co-delivered with young people who have been through the asylum process, this training explores;

  • The commonly misconceptions held about asylum seekers and refugees.
  • The training also provides insight in to why young people flee their home countries, how they get here and what barriers they face.
  • Attendees will leave with an increased cultural awareness of some of the most common countries of origin for our young people.

Training details;

  • Time, 10am-12.30pm
  • Place, 100 Great Patrick Street, Belfast
  • Cost £40 per person

Include Youth offers specialist, bespoke training for practitioners and organisations. All our training is informed and co-designed with children and young people.

We deliver a range of OCN accredited and awareness training to a range of organisations throughout Northern Ireland.  Training offered includes areas such as;

As a charity, we believe safeguarding of children and  young people we work with is of upmost important.

Our designated safeguarding officer currently sits on the Trauma Informed Practice Committee, Online Safety Committee & the Domestic Abuse Committee which meets regularly to work collaboratively with other organisations, share best practice and continue to be informed.
