Youth Worker (Employability) (Armagh)

Include Youth is recruiting a youth worker (Employability) for our Give & Take Programme.  We are seeking a caring and passionate individual to join our dynamic team in Armagh.  The role will involve working to support care experienced young people who need support with education, employment and training.  The post involves group work and 1-2-1 work, assessing and supporting the needs of young people, working alongside employers and within  a multi-disciplinary team.

Youth Worker, Our Generation, Derry/Londonderry

Description

Include Youth is recruiting a youth worker for our Heads-Up programme (Our Generation). We are seeking a caring and passionate individual to join our dynamic team covering Derry/Londonderry area.

‘Heads Up’ is part of OUR Generation partnership led by Action Mental Health, with the aim of empowering and investing in our young people. The PEACEPLUS project will develop and deliver programmes to enhance emotional resilience, (aged 9-25) and will lead research in mental health and the impact of trauma on our communities.

The role will involve working to support care experienced/young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through a positive mental health programme, 1-2-1 mentoring and youth leadership.  The post involves group work and 1-2-1 work, assessing and supporting the needs of young people through mental health.

Part-Time Strive Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Description

Strive is a cross-border, cross-community, good relations programme for young people aged 14 to 24 led by Include Youth in partnership with Youth Initiatives, Newstart Education Centre, Northern Ireland Alternatives and Lifford Clonleigh Resource Centre.  Include Youth is seeking to recruit  a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation and progress tracking of it’s Strive programme.   The post is part time and 14 hours (2 days) or 21 hours (3 days)  per week are available.
