Include Youth, in partnership with Tusla, proudly celebrated the achievements of remarkable young people at the ‘Give and Take’ programme celebration event held on Wednesday, 18th June. It was an inspiring occasion, recognising the hard work and dedication of young people who have completed the programme and earned qualifications that will support them into the future.
The ‘Give and Take’ programme, delivered in partnership with Tusla and funded through Dormant Accounts, supports care-experienced young people, offering tailored learning, employability training, and essential life skills development as the young people transition into world of work or education.
A highlight of the celebration was the heartfelt and powerful testimonials from the young people about the transformative impact of the programme on their lives—boosting their confidence, opening up career pathways, and providing a sense of belonging and direction.
“Before joining ‘Give and Take’, I didn’t know where I was going. Now I’m proud of how far I’ve come. This programme gave me a second chance.”
There was a double celebration as we also marked the exciting launch of the brand-new ‘FOR YOU’ Programme. The programme offers one-to-one support, promoting the wellbeing of children and young people aged 4- 18 in counties Cavan and Monaghan. Using a person-centred holistic approach, it offers creative interventions to encourage resilience and personal development, promoting stability and positive relationships within the home. The service is funded by, and run in partnership with, Tusla Child and Family Agency.

Through Tusla's partner-ship with Include Youth care leavers are getting the individualised tar-geted support that enables care leavers to achieve their goals in education, training and employment.”
