We listen to the views of young people with direct experience of the youth justice system and bring them to the key decision-makers.

Youth Justice

Youth justice is a key priority for Include Youth.

In October 2011 we held our annual conference:

Getting the 'Right' Youth Justice: Engaging with the findings of the Review of the Youth Justice System in Northern Ireland.

The conference brought key stakeholders together to examine and debate the findings of the Review and collectively identify the way forward towards a child rights compliant youth justice system. A full copy of the report is available here.

Our Submission to the Youth Justice Review Team April 2011 is also available, or visit submissions for more information.

We built on the work of our 'A Manifesto for Youth Justice in Northern Ireland October 2008', the Background Paper and associated research in our submission, which is grounded in the direct views and experiences of children and young people and practitioners working with them.
