The overall aim of #BlowYourSocksOff is to improve the long-term employability of disadvantaged and vulnerable young people. Get involved.
A tour of your workplace: small group of young people get a feel for your working environment.
A taster: young person gets the opportunity to witness first-hand a typical day in a particular job.
Work placement: days and hours are completely flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs of both the young person and the employer.
Ring-fenced employment: employers can ring-fence suitable entry level jobs. We recruit for them and support new starts on-site for free.
Mentoring: put your staff through our one day accredited mentoring training, designed to provide them with the skills needed to mentor young people or trainees.
Volunteer mentoring: gain accredited training to support a young person on our Give and Take Scheme in your free time.
Pro Bono: share your specialist skills and expertise to us on a pro-bono basis that might improve our organisational capabilities.
